Bee Cool ACS is a family-run specialist vehicle air conditioning service founded in 2004 by David Fry, born from his own experience struggling to find reliable A/C repairs.

Since then, we’ve grown to serve everything from everyday family cars to £1 million Formula GT race cars, HGVs, tractors, and specialist plant machinery.

Our Expertise:

• Fully trained, licensed, and insured to work with the following refrigerants: R12, R134a, HFO-1234yf.
• Specialists in electric and hybrid vehicle air conditioning, essential for battery cooling
• Experience with a wide range of vehicles: family cars, high-performance race cars, HGVs, agricultural and plant machinery

Highlights of Our Journey:

• 2007 – Launched mobile A/C services with custom-built mobile workshops.
• 2013 – Opened our Burton Latimer workshop, officially launched by Rt. Hon. Philip Hollobone MP.
• 2015 – Expanded into a full-service centre in Kettering with 5 vehicle bays and modern customer facilities.
• 2017 – Launched Bee Cool Performance & Motorsport for supercars and high-performance marques.
• 2019 – Appointed prototype contractors for Jaguar Land Rover, Lotus, McLaren, and others.
• 2020 – Launched the Bee Cool Franchise model to support new licensed workshop openings.
• 2021 – Relocated to a prestigious former main dealer site in Kettering, expanding to 11 vehicle bays.
• 2021–2023 – Expanded our team with new qualified technicians and leadership in customer service.
• 2022 – Won Independent Garage of the Year at the IGA Awards.
• 2023 – Won Garage of the Year – Outstanding Achievement and received Highly Commended at the British Speciality Workshop Awards.
• 2024 – Founder David Fry honoured with the prestigious IAAF Lifetime Achievement Award for services to the automotive industry.
